On May 20, 2011, Mingma Sherpa, the 33-year-old from Nepal, became the first Nepali and the first South Asian to scale all 14 of the world's highest mountains - an outstanding achievement and a milestone in South Asian mountaineering history. In the process, Mingma set new world record – he became the first mountaineer to climb all 14 peaks on first attempt!
Mingma is the managing director of Seven Summit Treks and one of the most experienced, responsible, dedicated and honest expedition leaders of Nepal.
